Hand written letter in brown ink in a fine hand dated Newbury December 2 1756 and signed " Your Lordships most obliged and obedient humble servant John Collet ". 8 densely written pages on two large sheetseach fold once. Vertical light crease. Headed " Philosophical Transactions for the year 1757 page 109. Then follows the title as given above. Then : " Read Feb 24 1757 " on same line as date. Slight occasionalrubs at edges, slight browning along front & rear top edge else clean, & unfoxed. Includes 2 small printed diagrams that go into spaces in text.
