A propos de cet article

Edited By Emma S. Woytinsky. 272 pages, diagrams, cloth, dust jacket frayed otherwise very good. From the dj: Until the publication of his memoirs, Stormy Passage, which received nationwide acclaim, the late W.S. Woytinsky was almost unknown to the general public, though he enjoyed world-wide recognition as a scholar and economist whose writings had appeared in more than a dozen languages. In this country, too, the world of science recognized his greatness and the valuable contributions he had made to his adopted land, while men in business and labor respected his judgment and independent opinions. The present volume consists of a collection of original essays by well-known scholars and writers in America and Western Europe describing the historical events in which W.S. Woytinsky took an active part (the two Russian Revolutions of 1905 and 191, his fight against the depression of the 193's in Germany, his part in the 'Battle of Economic Projections' in the United States, and others).
