This scarce book not only tells the story of The Allen Lithography Company Limited, Kirkcaldy, but also provides much information on the history of lithography and the Allen family. The group assumed the name Inglis Allen in 1990 but in 2007 it went into receivership and never re-opened. Published by Inglis Allen in 1998, first edition. In paperback form, the book measures approx. 9 1/4" x 6 1/4" with 103 pages and numerous illustrations. The book is in very good condition but with some shelf wear on the covers and rubbing to the spine ends and corners. Internally the book is secure and clean with no inscription. Size: 8vo.
