Bagatelle is a lovely garden set in the middle of Paris' Bois de Boulogne Originally built in the 18th century, it was reshaped in the early 20th century into a public garden by Jean-Claud Forestier who designed many of Paris's most famous parks and gardens. Forestier created a paradise of flowers, incorporating impressionistic touches and serveral garden styles. Many illustrations and folding garden plan at rear. No pencil or ink markings in text. Red paper binding with moderate edgewear. Chip at top corner of front cover. Small chips at top of rear cover near spine. Small tears at bottom spine.
