Near Fine/Very Good +. First Edition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. The Confederate Diary of Benjamin M. Seaton. Unusual in that no indication is given of the author's home, family or destination after the War. Focus is solely on his daily life, starting with the Tenth Texas Infantry. This is one of the best sources of the combat record of this active regiment. Done with little change to the phonetic spelling and grammar. Illustrated with photos of battlegrounds, soldiers and officers. Endpapers have reproductions of two pages of the diary in Seaton's neat handwriting. Prior owner's name on ffep. Scarce record of Texas participation in the "War of the Sixties" and engrossing personal journal. Black cloth with impressed bugle. Illustrated dj has minor corner scuffs. 117 clean, tight, bright pages. N° de réf. du libraire 1527

Description de la librairie : WE no longer operate a retail bookstore. Fifteen years was enough even though it was a labor of love. We now sell in two antiques malls. We are also active in selling both out-of-print books, ephemera, antiques and collectibles on ebay auction userid thebulldog. Look us up, We always have some desireable items for sale. We are posting on ABE our better out-of-print and rare books which we wouldn't normally place on open shelves in a mall. As of March 1999 we opened our listing and are adding more each regularly. PLEASE MAKE ALL INQUIRIES AND ORDERS BY E-MAIL. firstname.lastname@example.org I SPEND MORE TIME AT THE COMPUTER THAN I DO AT THE DESK WHERE THE PHONE IS AND THEY ARE IN DIFFERENT LOCATIONS. YOU WILL ALSO GET A FASTER REPLY. THANKS & HAPPY BOOKING.
