(26) pp. Publisher's quarter beige cloth over patterned boards, slipcase. 41 wood engraved plates, wood engraved title, an engraving in the text and another above the colophon plus a photograph of Stanley Lawrence tipped in. Slight sunning to the case, otherwise an excellent copy. With an introduction by Simon Brett, a memoir of Stanley Lawrence by Ian Mortimer and a history of the society in the 1950's by Frank Martin - Brett and Martin also contributing an engraving each.
