Et Universalis Inquisitionis Decretum ediderit, idem que confirmaverit die 5 Junii 1634 quo inhibuit imprimi libros Hominum, qui Sanctitate, seu Martyrii fama celebres e vita migraverunt, gesta, miracula, vel revelationes, seu queecumque bene ficia, tanquam corum intercessionibus a Deo accepta continentes, sine recognitione, atque ap probatione Ordinarii, et quae hactenus sine ea impressa sunt, nullo modo vult censeri approbata. Idem autem Sanctissimus die 5 Junii 1631 ita explicaverit, ut nimirum non admittantur Elogia Sancti, vel Beati absolute, et quee cadunt super Personam, bene tamen ea, quae cadunt super mores, et opimonem; cum protestatione in prin cipic, quod iis nulla adsit auctoritas ab Ecclesia Romana, sed fides tantum sit penes Auctorem. Huic Decreto, ejusque confirmationi, et declara tioni, observantia, et reverentia, qua pars est, insistendo; profiteor me hand alio sensu, quidquid in hoc libro refero, accipere, aut accipi ab ullo velle, quam quo ea solent, quae humana dumtaxat auctoritate, non autem Divina Catholicee Romanee Ecclesiae, aut Sanctae Sedis Apostolicae, nituntur.
