Description :

CONDITION: Fair, some deterioration of spine cloth, rubbed corners on spine boards; first two boards are taped together with modern clear tape (not ours!) which has recently caused a cracked spine on the next opening, light foxing on two page margins, all other pages and boards present, flat, and clean. Play Book shape book. Mrs. Chunky is bedridden and cannot take care of the ducks or take their eggs to market. Although the thought of Bedelia taking over is worrisome, Mrs. Chunky has no choice. But Bedelia has a bright solution for carrying the fragile eggs! She simply boils them for three hours before setting off. Although this book has no author named, the humorous text has to be Chloe Preston's; her American pictures are often simplified.See several photos of this copy on oldchildrensbooks com.
