CONDITION: Good Plus; Christmas inscription written lightly on back of frontis, Lavinia Lauderdale has written her name on the Contents page and made a neat dash after each story in some kind of code, erased but still visible; gilt bright on top board, almost illegible on spine, extrems worn through; a little foxing on a few pages but generally very clean and flat though darkening; several separations showing net but fairly solid with hinges intact, bottom edge gilt rubbed, plates in nice condition, several tissue guards have chips or wear and one tissue guard is missing.
