Artist-designed weekend colour supplement entitled Edition nr 46, i.e. the 46th week of each year for ten years 1990-2000: Jeff Koons, Jenny Holzer, Richard Prince, Sigmar Polke (17+ offset lithos making up the 1995 artists book and taken up within his print raisonnÈ), Kiefer (this issue also has an interview with Godard by Wim Wenders), Boltansky Kirkeby, etc. With the exception of Holzer and Prince, all within specially silk-screened portfolio covers in bright colours, one portfolio yearly per customer could be ordered from the publisher, but few were and most were jettisoned at source from the at most 50 to 100 hundred which had been produced with portfolio covers; the ìregular editionî was included once a year with the weekend copies of the S ddeutsche Zeitung (a Munich middle-of-the-road ìliberalî daily roughly equivalent to the N.Y. Times or Z rcher Zeitung). None were reprinted. The Holzer has a collage attached to the cover, and is part of an artist's multiple. The Koons was printed in an edition ten times the norm because he had a show outside Munich at the time, yet it is the second most costly when offered singly. N° de réf. du libraire 14
