Boards are worn on both volumes and the boards of volume two are detached. Ex-library copy with the bookplates from the Ohio College of Dental Surgery partially removed from the front pastedowns. The library is also written in pen on the front pastedowns. Previous owner's name and some underlining in pencil on the title page of volume I. Library bookstamp and previous owner's inscription on the title page of volume II. Otherwise the volumes are tight and sound and in nice condition for their age. 13 engraved Plates are all present at the rear of the text in volume 2.
