236 pp, indes, numerous plates of architectural designs for doors, stairs, wainscoating, windows, more. 8.5 x 11 inches. Leather spine and corners, marbled boards. The spine has gilt lettering and design, embossed design. The gilt lettering is fairly bright yet and easy to read. The leather has wear at the top and bottom of spine, along gutters, and most prominently at the corners. The marble boards have moderate scuffing but show green marbling on a brown background. The binding is tight, hinges good. The text has significant foxing, various water stains but not musty. There is no publication date, but describes Tarbuck as "Author of A POPULAR ACCOUNT OF THE STYLES OF ARCHITECTURE being the Essay for which the Royal Institute of British Architects awarded the "Institute Medal" for 1854."
