Boldly signed by the author on the front endpaper in his characteristic black ink to Lady Pansy Lamb (1904–1999) (nee Pakenham) and from whose family this book was bought, (her mother's sister was married to Lord Dunsany), "To Pansy, to wish you a happy Christmas, D. - 1956." Very good+ in slightly used and nicked, very good dust jacket, with slight chipping at spine head and a few closed tears at upper and lower spine hinge. Decent copy. N° de réf. du libraire C32232
