Vol. I , Very Good; bottom edge scuffed to white, all corners worn to card, calf spine perfect; Vol II, Good, the same with less corner wear but with severe 1/4" scrape along most of rear joint of spine exposing raw leather, thus price. (Trés bon état/Bon état) French language 19thc hardback juvenile. A beautiful set with peaceful pictures of the French countryside published just after the war.
