I Flew a Camel.
octavo, (x), 122pp. With drawings by Don Wootton. Illustrated with photographs. Kinney joined the RFC in 1917. He trained in Canada, Texas and England and in March of 1918 he was posted to 3 Squadron at the Front. He was wounded on 16 August 1918 while flying a Sopwith Camel and remained in the hospital until near the end of the war. The book contaons a roster on 3 Squadron, 1914-18. Inscribed and signed by Kinney on the front endpaper: "To - Sincerely yours, Curtis Kinney / Kenyon 1910 / MIT 1911 / Royal Air Force France 1918-1919 / Sopwith Camel pilot/ Mount Vernon, Ohio December 1975". Laid in is a 1 1/2 page autographed letter, signed by Kinney to the recipient of this book. The letter is on Kinney's embossed "World War 1 Overseas Flyers" stationery.
