A propos de cet article

216p/illus. The true first edition of the last book (volume 8 in the series). Therare wrap around dust jacket has a beautiful picture of a Flying Wing high over Manhattan and though this was a modern concept at the time, it captured the dreams for the future of aviation. This jet-propelled aircraft, of course, puts "Lucky" Bob Terrell directly into conflict with a dangerous spy ring. He survives an attack, the FBI interviews him and in the end he, of course, prevails but in a way that was a little different than most boy's adventure novels. DJ rear flap tells about "The Flying Jet: A Lucky Terrell Flying Story"; and DJ rear panel advertises three series: "Yankee Flier Stories" w/ 8 titles listed; "Red Randall Stories" w/ 8 titles listed; "Lucky Terrell Flying Stories" w/ 7 titles listed. Illust. w/ a b/w frontispiece drawing. This book has no markings within such as underlines, notes or high-lighting, book binding is tight, and pages are clean. N° de réf. du libraire 011067
