Subtitle: Containing an Entire New Edition of The Hebrew Melodies, . Also some Original Poetry, Letters and Recollections of Lady Caroline Lamb. First edition thus. Dull, soiled brown cloth covers. Title label pasted on spine. Label and spine darkened by time/use so that it is barely readable. Front cover splitting off book, still held on by half it's connection. Rear cover has an inch or so of severe edge wear but is not coming off. Edges of covers bent here and there. Former price notation in light pencil on front flyleaf and a few numbers in pencil on rear flyleaf, also two pencil marks on page 141, interior otherwise generally clean. Whoever did the binding used a narrow piece of printed paper as the base of the spine and some of that type shows through. One wonders what it is. N° de réf. du vendeur 4753
