A propos de cet article

Brown w/gilt lettering, red decorations. Spine and top edge lightly sunned, previous owner signature to front endpaper, otherwise clean, tight, bright, no marks. Illustrated throughout by Horace Raymond Bishop. Unclipped DJ must have been added later as it is Grosset & Dunlap. Large chip both head and heel of spine, small chips and rubbing edges but still quite attractive with great cover art. "Ordinarily in Glen Hazard, no one would have cared particularly about the murder of Bill Woody. In this sleepy little east Tennessee town, he was cordially disliked. But he was killed in the sheriff's own office, and the sheriff simply had to act." (from the jacket blurb) First and Second Printings before publication. N° de réf. du libraire B817BC
