A propos de cet article

255 pages, well illustrated, cloth, dust jacket badly frayed otherwise very good. From the publisher: Henry Deringer, Jr. Is the only American gunsmith whose name has become a common noun in the English language. Yet until now he has been one of the most enigmatic personalities in the whole field of firearms. Deringer made guns in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from 1806 to the time of his death in 1868. Like Samuel Colt, he established his product by supplying the military but found his greatest market among civilians. Although he made a variety of weapons, he is most famous for the large-caliber, short-barreled pocket pistol that bears his name. ; 255 pages. N° de réf. du libraire 31932
