One large bifolium sheet printed on all four sides--page size is roughly 13.5" x 19.5"; the paper is still quite supple; some general edgewear particularly at the fold where it seems this was once bound into a collection; general foxing/toning. First printed in Salem, MA in 1768 under the title, The Essex Gazette, the Independent Chronicle was removed to Boston as the British troop left in 1776.
