Darkened top edge and foredge. Some foxing to page edges throughout. Also two tipped in cuttings of other works regarding Italy to backs of a couple of the engraved plates. Spine has five raised bands and richly decorated compartments. Ornate gilt panelled boards, gilt ruled board edges and turn-ins. All page edges gilt, later marbled endpapers. Some light foxing to plates, some browning and offsetting to pages facing plates. A few occasional marks but overall a very clean example. Overall condition is Very Good.
