Titre : Jahr Ein Jahr Aus im Elternhaus (Year in, ...
Éditeur : Dresden: Verlag von J H Richter. Druck (Druss?) von Breitkopf und Hartel in Leipzig.
Reliure : Hardcover
Illustrateur : The printing quality of the engravings is very bright, making me think this may be a first edition.
Edition : 1st Edition
Good to VG: solid; cloth unevenly faded; a 3" piece of the backstrip is loose and laid in at front; some pages toward the front have what looks like foxing stains caused by old fingerprints; good paper. Hardcover in brown/maroon pebbled cloth, 6.5x9.3" (23.4 cm.), n.p. 40 poems for children with charming engravings by Pletsch. I like them more than those in Die Kinderstube, which was described as "Probably the most beautiful of Pletsch's books" (Seebass II, 1479). A scarce book; no copies listed on WorldCat. The printing quality of the engravings is very bright, making me think this may be a first edition. N° de réf. du libraire 992622
