CONDITION: Good Plus; no names or other marks, top board lightly scratched all over, paper worn through in a few small spots, bottom board grubby and deeply scratched, extremities moderately worn; without disturbing original spine, a professional conservator has reinforced some pages at gutter and replaced the endpapers; flip-down platforms of pop-ups slightly dog-eared at gutter from closing, darkened pages smudged throughout; all pop-ups in excellent condition, nothing torn, wrinkled, missing or unattached, and very bright. Play Book Pop-Up Humpty Dumpty escorts two children to the other side of a high brick wall at the bottom of the garden and into fairyland, where nursery rhyme and story characters await. Beautiful scenes can be let down to show Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, The Sleeping Beauty, Puss in Boots, There Was an Old Woman, and Beauty and the Beast.
