CONDITION: Very Good Plus; no names or other marks, tight, clean, spine ends nice, corner tips worn through, half inch of wear to top corner of bottom board, some glue discoloration to endpapers, pages appear unread. Picture Book hardback. Notable for the cover illustration of two elephants in striped pajamas who are having a pillow fight! The background is plain, but the figures look like the work of G. H. Thompson for Nister/Dutton. The interior has collected stories illustrated by house engravings on browning pulp paper. Not common, but it probably collected for its cover.
