From Wikipedia: "Lancelot Thomas Hogben FRS (9 December 1895 – 22 August 1975) was a versatile British experimental zoologist and medical statistician. He is best known for developing the African clawed frog as a model organism for biological research in his early career, attacking the eugenics movement in the middle of his career, and popularising books on science, mathematics and language in his later career. In an interview for the book Twentieth Century Authors, Hogden stated: "I like Scandanavians, skiing, swimming and socialists who realize it is our business to promote social progress by peaceful methods. I dislike football, economists, eugenicists, Fascists, Stalinists, and Scottish conservatives. I think that sex is necessary and bankers are not". ". N° de réf. du libraire 36579
