Novel concerning the nocturnal activities of a "lady" named Diane, with at least two male characters (named Eric and Jeff); notable perhaps for the lady's final riposte: "Try a cold shower, Jeff." Presentation copy, signed and inscribed to the noted maitresse demimondaine Polly Adler in black ink on front free endpaper: "For Polly -- who makes the world turn a little more amusingly, magnificently than any other person.
