4to, pp. xxx, [2, blank], 575, [1]. Contemporary straight-grained red morocco, boards bordered with a gilt rule, spine divided by raised bands between gilt rules, second compartment and foot gilt-lettered direct, marbled endpapers, edges gilt. Paper toned, occasional minor spotting. Binding rubbed and scratched, darkened at edges and spine, a touch of wear to corners.
