Synopsis : The Porcelain Twinz are more than just a world-famous burlesque act. They're more than their dozens of magazine covers, photo spreads, and television and movie appearances. They're more than the creators, stars, and promoters of an independent film. They're more than theatrical performers who also happen to be identical twin sisters. They are Heather and Amber, and they are survivors. Hailing from Portland, Oregon, the Porcelain Twinz have made their way from stripping to success, through sheer talent and force of will, experiencing just about everything along the way. From their humble beginnings to becoming internationally-acclaimed burlesque performance artists, the Porcelain Twinz have the ultimate success story, striving and achieving on their own terms in the most unforgiving of industries, against the toughest of odds. Their unforgettable journey will shock, amaze and truly inspire.

Description de la librairie : The Reader's Corner is such fun,it's too bad you have to buy our books on line. We have eight foot tall outside bookshelves across the entire front of the store. There is a money slot in the door for night sales, which go to support National Public Radio. Inside, which can be too crowded at times, are surprisingly good books, only 1% are ever listed on-line. We also sell records, music cd's, comic books, mags, computer software and games. Best of all is the found art decorating every spare spot. The motto on the front door: NO SHOOTING, NO SMOKING, NO MOONING THE MANAGEMENT.
