Crandall notes "Published in the north as 'The Picket Guard' and as 'The Picket's Last Wathc'. Authorship of the poem was long claimed by Lamar Fontaine. It is correctly assigned however to Mrs. Ethely Lynn (Eliot) Beers." There are additional lyrics on p. . Front title page printed in blue.
