Description du livre Farrar & Rinehart, New York, 1935. État : Very Good Plus. Etat de la jaquette : Very Good Minus. Roy C. Nelson (illustrateur). First Edition. First Edition. (Although Farrar & Rinehart calls for the logo, we have never seen a copy of this title with such logo. Perhaps because some of these recipes were reprinted from Esquire magazine. In any case, having had several copies, and none with the logo, we assume this to be the first edition. Hanneman's bibliography of Ernest Hemingway, does not decribe this title as having the publisher's logo.) Original lilac cloth, very good plus with no writing or markings, art deco illustration, in silver, on front cover. In very good minus dust jacket with the price crudely removed from the front flap. Among the other significant contributors are S.S. Van Dine, Pearl Buck, Edgar Rice Burroughs, Mac Kinlay Kantor, Irving Stone, and Theodore Dreiser. Ernest Hemingway begins the recipes with his "Death in the Afternoon Cocktail." (Audre Hanneman B 19) Illustrated by Roy C. Nelson. Scarce and desirable. N° de réf. du libraire 005745
