Riverbooks specializes in academic books, especially rare and of the highest-quality. Our curated collection is very strong in areas including Philosophy, Logic & Mathematics, Classical History, Mythology and Religion, Numismatics, and Late 19th / Early 20th Century Industrial History. We've been in business from 2000. We try to describe our books accurately using strict guidelines for condition. Books are packed soundly, most in cardboard boxes, and are shipped in timely manner.

Items are reserved on a first come first served basis. We accept credit cards through the Abe website, as well as personal checks. Checks must clear before shipment is made.
Buyer is responsible for any additional duties, taxes, or fees required by recipient's country.

Orders are usually processed within 2 business days. We ship using the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) with tracking at cost. U.S. orders are shipped standard via Media Mail, or Priority. International orders are shipped First-Class Package International Service (maximum 2 books), or Priority Mail International, whichever is most cost effective. All shipping costs are based on books weighing 2 lbs. or less; if your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
