A propos de l'auteur: Josephine Smith is currently Deputy Headteacher at Long Field School in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire having previously worked in comprehensive schools in Cambridgeshire and Rutland. As a middle and senior manager she has been responsible for CPD planning and delivery to teaching and support staff. Work as Initial Teacher Training coordinator and professional tutor means she has overseen PGCE and GTP training programmes in school as well as coordinating training sessions and events for Inset days. She is a regular contributor to Sec Ed magazines CPD pages, writes for several other education journals and has been published in the TES.
