Chicago: Louis Mariano, 1951. 1951 biography of Walter Dill Scott (1869-1955), who was a student, professor and president at Northwestern University over his long career. Scott is popularly known as a pioneer in the psychology of advertising, who wrote his first book on the subject in 1903. This book describes his life, from Illinois farm boy, to President emeritus. Red cloth, 198 pages, illustrated dustjacket. The book has little wear, good hinges, sound text block, clean pages free from names or other markings, the copyright page and opposite blank are a little toned from an old clipping. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped and has some light edgewear plus a closed tear at the top edge near the spine, very little paper loss overall. . Includes Letters Signed By Scott. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. N° de réf. du libraire 008596
