From a theological library, bound in 1800's marbled boards with a recent brown cloth taped spine. Defective: missing some pages and parts of pages. The title page lacks the lower one inch to 1-1/2 inches, with the loss of the name of the main publisher and date. It mentions Dublin, then London as being reprinted. The book's ending gives a 1707 date, and the library has pencilled in a 1742 date in their catalog information. A number of pages have had parts covered with a semi-clear paper to repair tears. Lacks leaves 27/28 and 29/30. Lacks the lower one inch of leaf 33/34 with the loss of several lines of text at the bottom of page 34. Contains 55 numbered pages of text, with the last 3 leaves having some large brownish stains. Followed by 5 pages of a publisher's catalog of books, many about Quakers. The catalog is titled: "Books Printed and Sold at the Bible in George Yard, Lombard-street.". The last page of the catalog has some period handwriting. More modern endpapers. The book measures about 4 inches by 6-1/2 inches. Size: 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall. N° de réf. du libraire 15465
