1683. No Edition Remarks. 388 pages. Quarter bound brown leather with brown cloth (possibly C19th binding). No leaves prior to title page. Note: a heavily damaged book with front board practically detached. Pagination error: last page is numbered 488, but actually 388 numbered pages. 39 Articles of Religion at rear is not included in pagination. Pages rather marked with notable tanning, foxing, thumbing. Binding firm bar hinges which are cracked with some insect damage. Pen inscription front pastedown. No leaves prior to title page, which has small pencil annotation and is slightly trimmed. Sporadic mild liquid stains and marks to pages, block edges. Slight repairs to a few pages. Text legible apart from a few individual words. Boards have heavy edge wear with intense bumping, fraying to corners. Front board almost detached.
