Very Good/No Jacket. First. Limited Edition. Signed by Author. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Blue buckram, with gold lettering on cover and spine. Near fine condition except for fading of the gold lettering on the spine. This copy is from Herman Theodore Radin's Library and includes his bookplate which was designed and engraved by Timothy Cole, 1913. On the free endpaper opposite the bookplate is a black lined card reading "The family of the late Mr. Timothy Cole acknowledges with deep appreciation your kind expressions of sympathy" Laid in is the prospectus for the book Also laid in is a one page holograph letter of apology from Timothy Cole to Dr. Radin dated June 28, 1920. Also laid in is a four page holograph letter from Alphaeus Cole discussing Dr. Radin's bookplate and it's treatment in the book. Attached to the rear endpapers is the NY Times book review of the book on July 26, 1936. Dr. Radin has also made some corrections and additions to the index in pencil. We also sell records, music cd's, comic books, mags, computer software and games. Best of all is the found art decorating every spare spot. The motto on the front door: NO SHOOTING, NO SMOKING, NO MOONING THE MANAGEMENT.
