I sell mostly academic books which I have accumulated over thirty-or-so years. The generous baggage allowances meant that I managed to find many books in North America on various visits. I still have some 'freethought' journals from the late 19th/early 20th century and one or two other journals from the same era. As some of the books were once review copies I often have the less available hardback versions. I have been selling books on Abe for now years now and have had only one complaint. This was justified, but generally I tend to understate the condition of the book. Please look at the catalogue listings below for your particular interest area. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. Where shipping is significantly above the standard prices offered on Abe, my policy is to split the difference and request half the difference (in addition to the standard charge) from the purchaser.
