Juptner: "The owners and pilots of the Travel Air airplanes were the company's most avid boosters. Being among the first to engage itself in the untried business of commercial airplane manufacture, the Travel Air team, under able leadership soon became one of the largest airplane manufacturers in the world. This book is the story of Travel Air as never told before, a behind-the-scenes look into the company in a time when aviation was thrust upon the American scene in a manner that has never been equaled.
