A propos de cet article

CONDITION: Good; no names or other marks, tight, straight with nice hinges, light soil to bottom board, bottom corner of top board is worn and frayed about 2"; other extrems worn to card, spine has half inch chip in cloth at foot and narrow 3/4" chip in center, gilt faded but legible, pages well read but generally unwrinkled and clean. Juvenile hardback small Vernon promised his three younger siblings, 12 year old twins and the five year old Eddy, that he would share his studies of the history of England with them when he came home on vacation; accordingly, every day he marked several of the illustrated pages in the books he was studying and invited the children in for a conversation. The entire book records these conversations, which remain true to the individual characters. One of "a series of narratives, dialogues, biographies, and tales for the instruction and entertainment of the young," 36 titles also published as 12 volumes. ABE Heritage Seller since 1996; conservative AB condition grading. We ship all our books in cardboard protection. International shipping. . N° de réf. du libraire 21432
