Condition Report Externally Spine – good condition – all internal cloth spines very good and bright in red cloth with gilt titles, dust jacket spines - some sunning to spines on some volumes, and some marginal closed tears, in particular to Vol 2 Young Statesman. Joints – good condition – worn but good. Corners – good condition – some corners bumped. Boards – good condition – dust jackets have closed tears to the board edges, cloth boards very good. Page edges – good condition, top of page edges a deep maroon colour which is spotted and sun faded to some volumes, front page edges are spotted and foxed to the earlier volumes but this doesn’t impact internally, underneath page edges with shelf wear. See above and photos. Internally Hinges – very good condition. Paste downs – very good condition. End papers – very good condition. Title – very good condition.
