Etat du livre : Very Good

Description :

Approximately 200 leaves, wrappers, very good. 8 by 11 inches. From the introduction: "Very little detailed information concerning Winchester arms, especially on the older models, is readily available for general use by our salesmen and office employees handling customer correspondence. Persons interested in Winchester arms ask many questions that are difficult to answer due to this lack of necessary data, and it is my opinion that answers tothese requests for informaiton are often incomplete and in some instances inaccurate. The informaiton shown in this booklet, compiled from Winchester catalogs, price lists, office and factory records, and from the memories and personal notes of several of our older employees, includes much information not generally known. As Winchester arms have been on the market for over three quarters of a century, this information is necessarily limited to such available data as has been permanently recorded in some form. It is believed, however, that the information recorded is sufficient to give a fairly complete picture of each nodel and the part it played in the establishment of Winchester prestige and reputation for high quality arms. - G. R. Watrous, February 3, 1943. With Winchester since 1900.". N° de réf. du libraire 31012
