12 vols., in contemporary full leather binding with red, gilt-lettered labeling to spine and gilt decoration to board edges, green-sprinkled page edges, pp. [ff. 2], 354, [2]; [ff. 2], 328, [4]; [ff. 2], 336; [ff. 2], 443; [ff. 6], 331; [ff. 7], x, 359; [ff. 1], xxiv, 363; xii, 396; viii, 346; xii, 341; [ff. 2], 387; [2], 348, with frontispieces copper-engraved after William Hogarth (vol. I) and Michael 'Angelo' Rooker, bookplate of Francis Pym, most probably the deceased British politician of that name, and another more recent bookplate on the opposite endpaper. Minor water damage to vol. VI, which has stained the edges of the preliminary and trailing pages; the boards are about to become detached in at least three volumes, otherwise a remarkably clean, bright set.
