A detailed narrative account of the events between February 1878-November 1879. with eye-witness accounts, accurate maps & wood-block engravings, supplemented with copies of photographs taken on campaign during the period 1879-1881. Color and b/w illustrations tipped-in throughout. Undated, but late 1990s. Quite uncommon. Fine/Wraps. Black plastic comb binding w/stiff card covers, all perfect condition.
