B. Brown and Associates was a brick and mortar Seattle bookstore, operating from 1996 to 2020. Former owner Bob Brown was a long time rare book collector, dealer, and fan, specializing in science fiction, world catastrophe, and fantasy. Though B. Brown and Associates no longer exists as a physical store, on Abe we are pleased to offer a quality, limited selection of books for collectors of science fiction, fantasy, horror, mystery, children's books, and more. For domestic orders, we ship via USPS media mail, unless otherwise requested. For international orders, we also ship via USPS, and customers will be charged according the method of shipping and weight. Any book purchased is fully returnable within 30 days of receipt; we ask that you contact us to initiate a return. All books ship within 1-3 business days. Shipping costs are usually based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we will contact you to let you know, if extra shipping is required. Standard domestic shipping price of $5.50 includes insurance for orders $99 and less. For orders over $100, we will contact you about insurance: if you'd like your order insured, there will be an additional small fee. Individual books are carefully wrapped and shipped in padded mailers. Oversized books and multiple books are sent in boxes.
