The first collection of short stories from American author, E. Hoffmann Price, known in particular for his popular and weird fiction and for his collaboration with H. P. Lovecraft.Comprised of twelve tales, labelled as "Oriental Fantasies", drawing upon the author's own experiences travelling in Asia. Many of these stories originally appeared in the periodical 'Weird Tales', with those that received the most popularity being included in this collection, notably 'The Stranger from Kurdistan', 'The Girl from Samarcand' and 'The Rajah's Gift'.
