The book has been covered in mylar and both flaps have been glued towards the tail to the end papers with a drop of glue. On the title page the bar code has been covered in black texta, and there's minor damage from the removal of the date due slip, also damaged by the removal of the libary pocket is the back end paper. The damage is aesthic and superficail, as it remains a clean, tight and unmarked copy which appears to have been rarely borrowed Graham Williamson provides a comprehenisve account of the orchid flora of the plateau of Southern Central Africa. .".the author covers fifty genera of indigeneous Central African orchids and includes several species never previously classified. he describes the various species within each genus and illustrates them with detailed drawings to show the differing characteristics.
