Softbound. Volumes 1 through 5, wraps, in publisher's slipcase. Illustrated with black & white and color plates of which some are fold-outs. Volume 1 is the first evening's sale, and includes an essay by Dr. Rainer Beck on the collection, and contains lots 1-34. Volume 2 is the next days' sale, and contains lots 101 through 258. Volume 3 contains the art of Adolf Holzel and his Circle, and contains lots 301-394. Volume 4 focuses on 20th Century German Prints, and contains lots 401-526. Volume 5 highlights Impressionist and Modern Art. Prints and Livres d'artiste and contains lots which are unnumbered but included in other sales. They are described here apparently to keep the cohesiveness of the beck Collection intact for publication purposes. A clean and unbroken set in VG+ condition. Shipping weight is. VG+, in a VG slipcase. Prior owner's stamp on each of the 5 title pages, light shelf wear to slipcase.
