Soft cover. Etat : New. Ansel Adams (Photographer) (illustrateur). First Edition, 2nd Printing of 1984. BRAND NEW Copy. Anthology of selected photographs from 1928 to 1968 in Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas & Utah. In the Preface, Ansel Adams (1902 - 1984) tells us his earliest "serious photographs" of the Southwest were made around 1928. This selection is presented for the "flow of meaning" rather than governed by location and time." Although some previously published photographs are included for their signficance to the general theme, the larger part of the chosen works "has been seldom, if ever, seen or reproduced" before.
