Hardcover. Etat : Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. A large hardback in near very good condition with some wear, rubbing, and bumping to corners. edges and spine ends of book, including some fraying to top spine end edge. The reddish boards show a small amount of slight discoloration in front. There is a small chip/tear to the bottom edge of page 20 adjacent to the spine. The book presents " An Annual Review of the Performances of the Outstanding Thoroughbreds, with Tabulated Pedigrees of Stakes Winners and Data on Sires and Their Runners" This book is the first (after the ATBA took over publication) to return to the same large format as the earlier books published by Sagamore Press in the series (1956 and 1957 were issued as smaller books by the ATBA) and is the first one to include a 139 page statistical section on Sires Raced in 1958 and Broodmare Sires.
