Hardcover. Etat : Very Good. "The Florida Orchidist" from Nov. 1958 (Vol. 1, No. 1) through Dec. 1973 (Vol. 16, No. 4), including the original wrappers, in thirteen books nicely bound in matching red buckram cloth with gilt titles on spines; former owner's name also in gilt on the lower front boards of eight of the books. Modest wear, some foxing. Most front free endpapers have former owner's written name and address or his address stamp; it's also written in several issues. A few written notes/notations here and there; a bit of pencil underlining noted in a few issues. Some volumes with a few pages protruding at fore-edge that have been folded-in and creased. A bit of dampstaining to the 1961 volume. The issue from June, 1972 appears to have a couple of pagination errors; no apparent missing pages. Bindery slips laid-in or tipped-in to many volumes. Note: the first book in the series, indicated on the spine as Vol. 2 / 1959, also includes the only issue published in 1958 (Vol. 1, No. 1).
